Ahmad Nazeri

Ahmad Nazeri bridges continents and disciplines in his approach to technology policy and AI governance. From his legal and international economics foundation in Tehran to the policy corridors of Washington, D.C., he brings a unique global perspective to digital rights challenges.

Currently pursuing his Master’s in Economics at George Mason University, Ahmad has served as a Research Assistant at the Abundance Institute and previously as a Google Public Policy Fellow at the R Street Institute. His work through the Koch Associate Program with Stand Together Fellowships has focused on the legal and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, particularly emphasizing freedom of expression in digital spaces. With advanced training in public administration complementing his economics studies, Ahmad explores how emerging technologies can expand rather than constrain human potential. He shares these insights through his blog, Hephaestus Unchained, where policy meets philosophy in the digital age. When not analyzing the latest AI governance frameworks, Ahmad can be found defending Manchester United’s honor or engaging fellow policy enthusiasts in spirited debates about the future of internet freedom.
