Keonna Parrish bridges the gap between building AI systems and holding them accountable. From cloud architecture and data engineering to research on bias and synthetic media, she works on a single question: how do we know what an AI system is actually doing, and can we trust it?
Currently completing her MS in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Investigation, Keonna focuses on AI accountability, bias detection, and synthetic media forensics. Her work includes a study on demographic bias in large language models, an interpretability tool for auditing model decisions, and deep learning work on detecting manipulated media. Her background spans cloud solutions architecture, data engineering, and digital organizing, giving her a rare view of the technical reality behind the policy debates. She joined the Foundry to help bridge the gap between the people who build these systems and the people writing the rules for them. When she is not auditing models or digging into AI governance, Keonna can be found buried in the newest sci-fi release.
