Maria Rohani is a seasoned human rights practitioner with over a decade of experience spanning big tech, international development, UN agencies, and grassroots organizations. Currently, she serves as a Senior Case and Policy Officer at Meta’s Oversight Board. She also independently consults on issues related to technology and gender for philanthropic organizations. Maria has previously held roles at Google, UN Women, and CARE, among others. An alum of UC Berkeley and Columbia University, Maria is based in Brooklyn, NY.
