TMG is a top-tier information and communications technologies (ICT) consulting firm that provides global regulatory, policy, technical, and economic advisory services to leading companies in the tech and telecom space, as well as governments and multilateral institutions. We are seeking a Regulatory and Policy Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time work-from-home position based in the Washington, D.C. area. The position will provide exposure to a constantly evolving sector and offer opportunities to build knowledge and skills related to emerging digital technologies and services, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, 5G and beyond, Internet of Things, cloud computing, sustainability, and data services.

Job Description. To conduct research, analyze information, and draft reports and other documents pertaining to the ICT sector, focusing on international regulatory and policy developments.

Job Duties. The Regulatory and Policy Analyst will:

  • identify, research, and analyze policy and regulatory issues related to the ICT sector around the world;
  • research and prepare memoranda, reports, case studies, and presentations for clients on ICT-related policy, legal, and regulatory developments, including actions by courts, competition and consumer protection authorities, and other sectoral regulators;
  • participate in bi‐weekly or monthly client calls to provide updates and key insights on sector developments;
  • work with senior team to provide strategic advice to private clients, governments, and multilateral institutions;
  • attend ICT‐related industry meetings on behalf of TMG;
    assist in preparing proposals to support TMG’s business development efforts;
  • assist with regulatory compliance matters on behalf of private clients with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and other ICT regulatory bodies around the world.

Qualifications. The applicant for Regulatory and Policy Analyst should have the following qualifications.

  • undergraduate degree, at a minimum;
  • ideally 2-4 years of relevant work experience in the ICT sector;
    fluency in a second language is a strong plus, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, or French;
  • exceptional writing and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail;
    strong interpersonal and communications skills;
  • ability to embrace challenges enthusiastically, take initiative on projects, and collaborate with other TMG team members;
  • enjoy working in a diverse, team‐oriented setting, handling issues in multiple jurisdictions, and interest in traveling internationally;
    ability to multi‐task, prioritize, and work independently in a fast‐paced environment; and
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to draft professional reports and design modern graphics, tables, and charts with ease. Other publishing and design software proficiency is a plus.

Salary. Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The Regulatory and Policy Analyst will be eligible for benefits, including an annual discretionary bonus.
