Are you passionate about AI policy and looking for an exciting opportunity? The Foundry’s 4th Policy Hackathon is coming this Fall!

We’re seeking students and early career professionals interested in:

  • Developing creative solutions to AI policy challenges that capture the attention of companies, think tanks, and policymakers
  • Collaborating with diverse professionals from technical and policy backgrounds
  • Gaining hands-on experience to enhance policy skills and expand professional networks

  • Focus: Generative AI

About the Hackathon

The Foundry’s Policy Hackathons bring together students and early career professionals from public policy, data science, computer science, law, and related fields. Participants brainstorm solutions to pressing internet law and policy issues, with deliverables ranging from business plans to draft legislation and grassroots advocacy campaigns.

Previous Hackathons addressed:

  • Improving broadband equity
  • Promoting user rights in content moderation
  • Privacy in the metaverse
