Abraham Selby is a digital governance, Digital Transformation Specialist and public policy professional committed to building inclusive, rights-respecting digital infrastructure across Africa and beyond. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration and Management from University College London in the UK, where his research examined digital transformation in African public institutions, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from Christ Apostolic University College, Ghana (awarded by KNUST). He brings over 14 years of experience spanning internet governance, e-governance, AI policy, and digital inclusion.

Abraham has supported digital transformation and service management at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, and has served as a Technical Developer and Digital Transformation Consultant at Selby Consult.

He is Lead Facilitator of the Pan African Youth Ambassadors for Internet Governance (PAYAIG), a Research Contributor to UNDESA’s E-Government research project, and an active voice at the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF), ICANN as SPIRT Team Member, WSIS+ Forum, RightsCon, and the AI for Global Good Summit. He is particularly interested in the intersection of AI governance, Digital Transformation, data protection, and digital inclusion in the Global South, EU, America Regions and joins the Foundry to contribute to a community of policy leaders shaping a more equitable digital future.
