Angela Hooks is a manager of government affairs for Yelp. As part of a small but mighty team, she focuses on a plethora of issues; including consumer free speech, intermediary liability, antitrust, and diversity in tech. She also works on building public/private partnerships and encouraging public-facing government agencies to claim their Yelp listings as a useful way of gleaning customer service insights. Angela is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
