Ekene Chuks-Okeke is an Intellectual Property (IP) attorney and certified privacy professional (CIPP/E). She is invested in the relationship between the law, social norms, and emerging technologies – AdTech, generative artificial intelligence, blockchain and Web3.
Currently, Ekene is an LLM student in the Law, Technology & Entrepreneurship program at Cornell Tech in New York City, Ekene is undertaking research in the law of software, and exploring product development under the guidance of a leading cloud service provider. She is excited to play an active policy role in the adaptation of IP, media, privacy and internet laws to developments in technology, rewarding innovation at a minimal social cost.
Ekene considers herself a tech optimist and brings an international perspective from her previous experience advising media and tech clients in Lagos, Nigeria.
