Selihome Gebreyesus is a first-generation Eritrean American passionate about shaping the future of responsible technology governance. She is particularly interested in governance models where technical design and public accountability are co-equal—ensuring that digital technologies uphold human dignity and democratic values.
She previously worked as a consultant for emerging tech companies across the national security ecosystem, engaging with technology policy, regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, and public sector deployment. Selihome is also a Fellow at the Aspire Institute and a volunteer with Compassion in Politics, where she supports civic engagement efforts that advocate for a political system rooted in compassion.
