EFF’s incomparable General Counsel Kurt Opsahl will be back to MC the event. Kurt will award a new prize for best team name.

The Internet Law & Policy Foundry is bringing together all tech law geeks to go head to head in a battle of tech law legal minds. 

Questions will range from serious to absurd, all focusing on the wonderful world of Internet governance, privacy, free speech, intellectual property law, and cutting edge technology. The evening will be emceed by renowned cyberlaw quiz master Kurt Opsahl, Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, who presides over EFF’s famed Cyberlaw Pub Trivia.

Questions will range from serious to absurd, all focusing on the wonderful world of Internet governance, privacy, free speech, intellectual property law, and cutting edge technology. The Foundry is rapidly growing movement of Internet law and policy professionals whose goal is to be a platform for constructive debate, network-building, and professional development for emerging and early-career attorneys and policy analysts who are passionate abut development of Internet law and policy (but this event is open to professionals of all levels of experience).
