Alessandro Ciceri

Alessandro Ciceri is an AI governance researcher with a background in law and a passion for technology policy. He holds an LLB and an LLM in Commercial Law (Technology Specialization) from the University of Exeter, where his master’s dissertation explored how data dependency and machine learning algorithms affect the enforcement of the GDPR’s ‘right to be forgotten.’

Alessandro currently serves with the ITU’s AI for Good, helping with the AI Governance Dialogue 2025. His work focuses on bringing together heads of state, ministers, ambassadors, AI industry leaders, UN agencies, academics, NGOs, and civil society from across the world to have meaningful dialogues on AI Governance. Committed to advancing responsible innovation, he is especially interested in the data protection and privacy challenges posed by AI.
